The US army dispatched two convoys, including tens of trucks to the regions that are under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on the Eastern bank of the Euphrates River.
The trucks that were carrying a large volume of logistic and military equipment and a number of fresh forces were dispatched to the US-run al-Sousah base in Eastern Deir Ezzur.
The US has recently dispatched several convoys to strengthen its presence in Northeastern and Eastern Syria.
In the meantime, local sources in Hasaka province reported that the US has also sent a convoy of a hundred trucks carrying military hardware from Iraq to the SDF-held regions via Simalka border-crossing.
The London-based pro-opposition Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported last week that the US army dispatched a long convoy of military vehicles from its bases in Iraq to the regions controlled by the SDF on the Eastern bank of the Euphrates River on Syria territory.
The SOHR said that the US-led coalition forwarded a sum of 150 vehicles carrying military-logistic equipment to the SDF-held regions on the Eastern bank of the Euphrates River via Simalka passageway at Iraq-Syria border.
It further said that the convoy has been sent to the coalition bases in Raqqa, Aleppo, Hasaka and Deir Ezzur provinces, adding that more convoys will be sent to the US bases in Syria in coming days.
